For many years I have enjoyed collecting interesting pieces of furniture- with finials, trim, inlays and unique style- from earlier days. Using acrylics, I transform them to complement today’s decor. It is also very exciting for me to take a client’s treasure and enhance and embellish it for their enjoyment.
During the last several years I have been working with watercolors, acrylics, pastels and fiber. I have learned many techniques through classes with well-known local artists. Now I am creating my own style.
It is also gratifying for me to paint pieces for fund raisers as it gives me great pleasure to help others.
I was raised in Brighton, N.Y., one of six children. I had a twenty-eight year career with Monroe County Health and Human Services. Being one of the first baby-boomers, I get tremendous energy and satisfaction from these creative ventures. The support of my wonderful family and friends make each day an exciting journey.
